Podcasts for the Society of Critical Care Medicine

I'm honoured, and absolutely delighted, to be appointed to the team of podcast editors for the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

My first podcast is now out on the SCCM website, with Dr Alan Garland from Winnipeg in Canada, discussing the interactions between fluid therapy and vasopressor administration in the early management of severe sepsis.  He recently published his group's findings in the SCCM journal, Critical Care Medicine.

Its exciting to be a part of the podcast team - I've always loved the podcast interview setting and personally get a lot out of it.  The people I speak to are not only experts in their field, but are completely passionate about it.  They speak with an infectious enthusiasm that's hard not to be energised by.

I'm really looking forward to bringing you some of these conversations, and I'm grateful to the SCCM for allowing me to continue to do something I enjoy so much.
